SWC have been meeting every Thursday since 1971,
running competitions for well over a decade.
Every year, we enjoy prose and poetry of excellent quality from all around the world.
This year, with a theme of ‘City Life’, we are hoping to see
a diverse range of forms, styles and ideas, with some unique takes on the subject.
The group encourages everybody to turn their hand to writing,
in whatever form it may take.
In these troubled times, finding respite in the written word is an excellent activity,
and everybody is welcome to enter poems in this competition
