FEDERATION OF WRITERS SCOTLAND VERNAL EQUINOX COMPETITION 2020
Five categories, poetry (any number of poems, no more than 40 lines each),
short stories (any number, between 500 and 2000 words each),
flash fiction/mini-story (any number, up to 500 words),
Gaelic (poems and/or flash fiction, line/word limits as above) and Scots
(poems and/or flash fiction, line/word limits as above).
Prizes in each category: 1st prize £100, 2nd prize £25, 3rd prize £10
Open entry.
Closing date for the competition now extended to 30 April 2020
Entry fee is £4 for first entry in any one category, £8 for two entries in any one category,
£10 for three entries in any one category,
£3 for each subsequent entry (after the first three) in any one category.
