In memory of Professor Bill Overton (1946-2012),
the English Division in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities at Loughborough University
offers this prize for a sequence of poems up to 300 lines on any subject.
The first-placed entry will be published by Loughborough University
in a limited-edition chapbook, of which 50 copies will be given to the winning poet.
The deadline for the competition is 31st March 2024.
All entries judged anonymously by Kerry Featherstone, Lecturer in Creative Writing,
and T S Elliot Prize-nominated poet Daniel Sluman.
The entry fee is £12.50, payable after entry submitted via the link on the website
