Open to all those who identify as female
Up to three unpublished poems on any subject. Entry fee: £10
Pamphlet: 20-24 pages of 18-20 poems. Entry fee: £20
Poetry 1st Prize: £2,000 (plus optional mentoring and writing retreat)
2nd Prize: £400; 3rd Prize: £200
Special Prize: £500 for the best poem by an unpublished woman poet
17 finalists win £25 each
Pamphlet: publication by Seren
Judges: Carol Ann Duffy (poems) & Amy Wack (pamphlet)
All winning poems will be published in Mslexia
and selected winners featured in the PBS Bulletin and on the PBS website.
