PENfro Book Festival First Chapter Competition 2016 for first-time novelists

Prizes: Top 10 entries get a feedback review from top literary consultant and scout, David Llewelyn. And David will work with the 1st prizewinner over several months to help them to reach a publishable standard for the whole work.

Fee: £10. Length: 3,000 words max
